Follow these easy steps to get your AEG FAVORIT 40730 Dishwasher up and running in no time.

1. Transport and Positioning

Only transport the dishwasher in an upright position to prevent salt water from running out. Install the dishwasher on a firm, level floor and adjust it to ensure stability in all directions.

2. Electrical Connection

Ensure the mains plug is accessible post-installation. Avoid using multi-way plugs or extension cables. The dishwasher’s cable must be replaced only by the Customer Care Department or a registered electrician.

3. Water Connection

Connect the dishwasher to cold or hot water supplies up to 60°C. Do not connect to open hot water appliances. Ensure the water inlet hose is not kinked or crushed.

4. Setting the Water Softener

Open the door, remove the lower basket, and turn the water hardness dial on the dishwasher interior to the appropriate setting (0 or 1).

5. Filling the Salt Dispenser

Open the door and remove the lower basket. Turn the salt dispenser lid anti-clockwise to open it. For first-time use, fill the salt dispenser with water before adding salt.

6. Filling the Rinse Aid Dispenser

Fill up with rinse aid to ensure effective drying of dishes.

7. Final Setup Checks

Ensure that the spray arms can turn freely, and the water tap is turned on fully. Check for water tightness and ensure the dishwasher is not leaking.

8. First Use Cycle

Before loading dishes, run a complete dishwashing cycle to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
